Principle brands Shasta - The Mother of Inventions

This month Shasta launched its brand along with the first of many innovative baby products - SteriSoother. Principle were commissioned by this Longford based entrepreneur to design and develop a brand identity and packaging solution for this unique product. 

Shasta’s founder, a recent mother, identified a need in the market for a soother that could be bought by parents pre-sterilised for immediate use. More importantly though, she found a way to produce it!

Principle’s brief was to develop a brand identity for Shasta, giving it a unique position in the market place and having done that create a packaging solution that would push the product at point of purchase.

We designed a bright and friendly brand mark and identity system for Shasta (meaning 'daisy' in Irish) contrasting the established brands of Mothercare and Avent.
